Your Role and Responsibilities

• Hands on software asset tracking & compliance reporting
• Software licensing knowledge (At least end to end knowledge on 1 of the publisher. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM Sub cap, Red hat)
• Understanding of industry standard software vendors and software contract T&C’s
• Software Audit and compliance experience
• Stakeholder & escalation management
• Ensuring all distributed entitlement data is validated by mapping entitlements data to standard product names

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Performing discrepancy closures of SW recon based on data validation and resolutions.
• Comparing software licensed information to software installed information to identify variances
• Ensuring that required information is obtained about the names the changes in vendor names and resolved,
• Identifying and initiating the required purchases/discontinuances to correct the identified variances
• Producing and distributing the contracted software license management reports

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• General understanding of industry standard software vendors and software contract T&C’s
• Software tracking & software license management experience
• General understanding about software license metrics
• Strong excel skills.
• Ability to multitask
