Job Description

Parallel Computing Labs (PCL)-India (part of Intel Labs) is looking for motivated researchers in the area of parallel and distributed computing research applied towards Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and High-Performance computing. In this position, you will be responsible for investigating relevant software and hardware techniques with the goal of converting these into products and fueling Intel’s growth.

This requires a good understanding of state-of-the-art techniques in parallel computing, machine learning, distributed, architecture specific optimization of algorithms, and benchmarking, along with a strong understanding of computer architecture. You must also possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work in a demanding team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

1. Enrolled in a Master Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
2. Experience in Deep Learning, Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimizations, Machine Intelligence, Data Mining (Artificial Intelligence)
3. Perform Performance Analysis of Distributed Architectures for Outrageously Large Deep Learning Workloads
4. Explore innovative methods of parallelizing these workloads for cost-benefit objectives
5. Explore HW/SW Optimizations at Component, Network (Scale-Up/Scale-Out) and System Level
6. Programming experience and proficiency in C, C++, python

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
