Job Description

The Trainee for Invesco Indexing is responsible for both index research and index administration, as well as developing and maintaining the technologies that support both operations. He or she will collaborate with team members to create and rebalance indexes that have been systematically constructed across a range of geographic areas and asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, and alternatives.

• A strong candidate with excellent academic background and may have knowledge about financial products.

• The ideal trainee should be an enthusiastic worker willing to do whatever is required to get the job done.

• He or she must be highly detail oriented and intellectually curious with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong programming skills (Python preferable)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
