Responsibilities

• Working in cross-discipline design teams involving software, electrical, controls, and mechanical engineers.
• Develop & Debug in C/C++, Python, Go, and Java.
• Creating and supporting multi-threaded command and control software.
• Close collaboration with teams to communicate with third party I/O Controllers, safety relays and thermal subsystems.
• Hands on work with physical equipment setting up test environments, modifying computers, and equipment.
• Desire to understand, debug and fix system issues spanning multiple applications.
• Daily use of debuggers, compilers, source control, networking architecture, and Linux.
• A love of tinkering, learning, and collaborating as we breathe life into advanced new systems.
• Assist in the development of software interfaces to various sensors and control components.
• Write and understand test software as it relates to regression and unit testing.
• Write software to verify and reproduce system wide software failure modes.
• Present design work for peer review.
