Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and contribute to test planning and strategy.
- Design and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
- Create and enhance automation tests and tools.
- Develop effective test cases that follow the automation design put in place.
- Identify and report software defects, track them to resolution, and verify bug fixes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes do not introduce new issues.
- Add to performance, security, and scalability testing efforts.
About You
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques, test case design, and defect tracking systems.
- Hands-on programming knowledge with a preference for experience in Node.js TypeScript.
- Understanding of performance testing tools and techniques.
- Good working knowledge of Linux or Shell commands.
- Experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
