Role Overview:

As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible in taking care of the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure of the data center. This role involves monitoring network performance, responding to incidents, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the continuous availability of services. Expecting strong technical skills, who gives attention to details and the ability to handle the network incidents.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, firewall, network monitoring tools and technologies.
• Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and equipment.
  
• Solid understanding of network security practices and technologies.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills (i.e Pcap & DPI analytics using wireshark etc)
  
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified NetworkProfessional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in network operations, preferably within a data center environment.
• Monitor network performance and health using network management tools and dashboards.
• Monitor the network infrastructure, systems, and applications using network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Respond to network incidents and technical issues, investigating and diagnosing the root causes and implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Note:

• Should be working in 24×7 rotational shifts.
• CCNA Certification is preferred.
