Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage our complex Linux trading systems (hardware, network, OS) in production/live trading environment
- Handling and troubleshooting production issues related to colo/trading, office and data center environments across globe.
- Support and Administer firewall environment
- Interacting with Trading and Systems teams to ensure our Linux infrastructure is fastest
- Tuning and optimizing servers for low latency
- Working with vendors and technicians to resolve server issues, server installation and provide quick resolution for our global data centers
Ideal candidate should have:
- Hands on Experience on Linux, having RHCE Certification
- Engineering degree in Computer Science or any other discipline from top engineering colleges
- Expertise in installation, troubleshooting in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat) environment with experience in Firewall and Security
- Strong Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting
- Hands on experience in Monitoring Tools like Ansible/Zabbix
- Experience on AWS services like EC2 and S3 will be a plus point
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high priority projects
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Good communication skills
- Strong Aptitude
